Tap Power/Play (Clean Max) or Play/Pause (Clean) to pause. Opening the lid pauses it for you.
To pause, tap Power/Play. The machine pauses and the time starts flashing. Tap again to carry on exactly where it left off.
Opening the lid stops the machine the moment the lid comes off, with 1 short beep. Put the lid back and it carries straight on. If the machine is in Storage Mode when you open the lid, Storage Mode ends instead and the machine switches itself off.
If the tank runs low, the No Water icon comes on with 5 short beeps. Fill the tank, then tap Power/Play.
To cancel a cycle and restart, there is hot water inside, so it takes 2 steps: tap Power/Play to pause, then hold Power/Play for 2 seconds. 2 short beeps, and the display counts down from 10. Tap once during that countdown to cancel and stay paused. Let it run out and the machine drains, shown as moving dashes, with 1 long beep. Once it finishes draining, you can start again.
Lifting the lid mid-cycle pauses the machine safely. The cycle resumes when the lid is closed. On pause, only the time flashes. Every icon holds its state.
To reset, pause the machine, then press and hold Power until the Power button greys out. The machine drains. The panel stays unusable until the drain finishes, then the machine switches itself off. Power it back on to use it again.
